As part of my interest in the sociology of globalisation, I am exploring the role of families in world politics. A first exploratory research carries on expatriate  and migrant families in Asia.
Sociology of international organizations
Consequently to my Peacebuilders project, I am interested in the sociology of international organizations and most notably the sociology of work.
Peace and Conflict My teaching is mostly on questions of international security. I think that our understanding of conflicts is deeply shaped by our epistemological a prioris, among other our ideas about power and social positions in the world, but also ideas of gender, race and religion (in short, the sociology of globalisation). I critically read conflict research in order to understand the different epistemologies at work in contemporary conflict analysis.
